Rare subject, and at the advent of commercial kitchens. Black chefs both stare down the camera w/ pride, notably the Caucasian waitresses look away. Identified reverse Harper Hotel / 1914. Far from conclusive but online research suggests that the only historic hotel w/ that name and open at that time was the recently renovated Harper Hotel in Rock Island Illinois (outside of Chicago). Strong contrast w/ incredible details.
