African American Porcelain Dolls- ZOBE with Earrings & Long Beads-Frances Lynne

  
Created by renowned doll artist Frances Lynne in 1990, ZOBE is a beautiful porcelain doll, with a rich bisque brown complexion, stunning hazel brown eyes, fringed by long, black eyelashes. She has a pert, upturned nose and sweet, lightly tinged lips. Her mouth is partially open, revealing two teeth. Long, beaded earrings 2.5 in. Long hang from her pierced ears. Her curly bangs fringe her forehead. A thick black braid, tied with a gold bow, extends down her back to below her shoulders.

ZOBE measures 22 high and 9 wide. Her face, arms and legs are porcelain; her body, including the top of her arms and legs as well as her torso, are soft. ZOBE is wearing an ankle-length rayon dress with 3/4 length sleeves that reach below her elbows. The dress is deep burgundy with thin, light green and blue stripes.

A shimmering teal green stole is wrapped around her shoulders and extends to the hem of her dress. A matching shimmering teal green headband is wrapped around the crown of her head. The stole measures 16" long and 6" wide. ZOBE is wearing a triple strand of gold, burgundy, green and brown beads around her neck. The beads extend down to the middle of her dress.

Underneath her dress, ZOBE is wearing a full-length white cotton slip, trimmed in lace and lace-trimmed cotton pantaloons. She has on light brown leather boots.
