Born and raised in Nigeria, Urevbu's odyssey unfolds against the backdrop of a single-parent household, navigating a family of eight. His compass, firmly set on education as the pathway to success, guided him through one of Warri's exclusive high schools and Africa's oldest art college in Lagos.

In America and the city of Memphis. He studied art at the Memphis College of Art, and later in pursuit of a Master's degree at the University of Memphis.

Eventually, he refurbished and and restored a derelict building on Main Street, creating the Art Village Gallery, and he led in the establishment of a vibrant arts community for the Bluff City in the shadow of the National Civil Rights Museum.
