This Kestner (identifying by leg and face characteristic) doll is a rare find for collectors of antique dolls. The four-inch bisque doll features a black mignonette jointed body with brown glass eyes and dark complexion. The doll is dressed in ethnic garb and signed by the artist with an incised number. This original porcelain doll is perfect for all occasions and is a great addition to any dollhouse series.

The doll comes without packaging, but it is sure to be a treasured possession for anyone who appreciates the beauty and uniqueness of antique dolls. This doll is so wonderful, with it's original ethnic style clothing. There is an armpit chip on the figure's left side;, there is loss of surface paint on the side of the head, and in other small areas throughout. The pant fabric exhibits deterioration. Other clothing components appear intact. The clothing is sewn in place, and original to the doll. One of the glass eyes is slightly recessed. Although I have not cleaned the doll, I gently brushed away the dust on the eyes, to better see them.
