St Thomas Black Doll Wristlet Purse Wood Woven Grass Souvenir US Virgin Islands

  

From my Mother's estate. This is one of several souvenir dolls that was collected over many travels. I believe her head is carved painted wood.. There is some age crazing to the paint. She has large metal hoop earrings.

Her hair is done in a bun still tightly glued to her head. Her face is painted with thin line eyebrows, long eyelashes, high cheeks bones, I believe there is the remnants of red lips, but that is long gone. She has tiny, woven hands and a cinched belt with a colorful red vest, this has a metal zipper on the back and a little string for childs wristlet purse. If there is a little weight put in the purse, she is freestanding.

The inside is lined in a very simple pink fabric. Please review all of the pics carefully my items come from a clean, pet and smoke-free home. This item has been properly stored over the years in a curio cabinet. She is just over 7 inches tall.
