TANO - "TREASURES OF AFRICA" BARBIE DOLL BY BYRON LARS - GOLD LABEL, 2005. Tano Barbie is the fifth and last doll in this series. Tano means "five" in Swahili.

Tano Barbie doll is called "equal parts ethnic princess and couture queen" in her beaded top, striking belt featuring red feathers, printed crepe cropped pants with golden embroidery, long golden earrings, elaborate beaded necklace and burgundy-ribboned shoes. An incredible headpiece features a birdcage complete with a red molded bird with a feather tail.

Tano Barbie has long rooted eyelashes. As a Gold Label doll, only 10,500 were produced and distributed worldwide. This exotic doll is in "Excellent" condition due to protected display.

Her original box is also in excellent condition. Included, along with Tano's complete outfit and accessories, as described above, is her doll stand, Collector Card and Certificate of Authenticity.
