Antique style or origin Ethnic Tribal carved stone figure of sitting person with headdress measuring approximately 7 inches in height and weighing 4 pounds 10 ounces. He is squatting with his chin resting on his knees and is maybe a little worried looking and/or is staring at a magnificent solar eclipse. Possibly Pre-Columbian or African or Papua New Guinea?

The stone is smooth and feels somewhat chalky yet very dense and quite heavy. It sits stable and presents very well. One of three recently acquired tribal stone carved figures that I will be listing.

Expert opinion as to exact age and origin most welcome. Overall good condition as described above...
