Vintage Hand Carved from solid piece of Wood - no Artist signature that I can see. It's a heavy dark wood, mahogany?? - I don't know - approx.

13.5 inches tall and the base is 6 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Lovely facial features and expression - closed eyes. It does have a minor crack that runs up the head behind the left ear - crack is basically superficial and NOT deep - no loose or missing wood - could be easily repaired with wood putty or just leave as is, I love the character this small flaw imparts. There are some tiny tiny white paint flecks mostly head and base - easy to remove. All in all very nice vintage female sculpture - soooo Calming - sooooo Serene - POWERFUL!
