The striking pendant in this Kifi Necklace takes the abstractform of a fish and is made from brass using the ancient lost wax process thatis used by artisans from the Ashanti tribe in Ghana. The fish is symbolic inmany cultures around the world and broadly symbolize femininity, good luck andhappiness. In Africanmythology, ancient creation myths tell of Mangala, the creator, planting seedsin the cosmic womb.

Vintage brass beads at the necklace mid-way and ends aremade in a village near Kumasi, Ghana, using the lost wax process.
