ZULU WOMAN Artist Signed Khatiti Wrap Doll Sculpture Original By Briggs

  

We are downsizing and, reluctantly, offering this elegant, African "ZULU WOMAN" sculpture doll by noted Los Angeles area artist, Angela D. This amazing doll is more of sculpture or work of art. She is named, signed and dated on the underside of the wood base. She is a one of a kind piece by Briggs from her Khatiti Wrap Doll line.

She is made of various fabrics and has incredibly detailed accessories, shell wrap necklace, a whisk, a hand beaded leather mirror, earrings etc. Her dolls have been well exhibited; African wrap dolls were made in the U.

Ms Briggs has carried on this tradition by using similar materials. Included with the call is her resume, list of exhibits and commissions which were provided when I bought the doll.

This is a very rare piece and very desirable for the collector of African American Art, dolls. This has been displayed only, never played with - no stains, damage, repairs, etc. Please see our photos as they are part of our description.
